Description: A vulnerability was reported in Symantec Brightmail. A remote user can cause the service to crash.

Symantec reported that a remote user can send an e-mail message containing several nested RFC822 MIME attachments to trigger an error in the sieve module and cause bmserver to crash.

The original advisory is available at:

Impact: A remote user can cause the target service to crash.

Solution: The vendor has issued a fix (Patch 134).

This fix supercedes Patch 132.
